Dietary Restriction Icons
These icons were made for the Cooking experiences platform, where Airbnb guests are hosted by families, farmers, pastry chefs, and other locals who will share their recipes with guests — and the cultural traditions and personal stories behind them. Airbnb guests choose from 3,000 Cooking experiences in 75 countries.
The platform needed to address dietary restrictions for each of these cooking experiences, so I was responsible for creating dietary restriction icons that fit within the existing design system for Airbnb’s “Amenities” iconography: 1px stroke, no fill, only using the on-brand “Hof” grey.
